Job Overview

The role of a Bookkeeper is to maintain accurate financial records, process invoices and payments in a timely manner, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial reports. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records, accurately recording all transactions and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Process invoices and payments promptly, managing cash flow and minimizing delays.
  • Reconcile accounts regularly, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and preparing comprehensive financial reports.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting efforts, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and clients regarding payment inquiries, building strong relationships and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies, maintaining a culture of compliance and integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with expertise in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, with a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
