We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Property Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with financial statements, general ledger account activity, and internal controls.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing bank reconciliations, expense accruals, and journal entries for clients. They will also review general ledger account activity to ensure financial statement accuracy and adherence to accounting policies.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare bank reconciliations, expense accruals, and journal entries for a portfolio of clients
  • Review general ledger account activity to ensure financial statement accuracy and adherence to accounting policies
  • Produce monthly financial statements and internal/external reports as needed/requested
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of internal controls and segregation of duties required to drive consistent implementation of best practices
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement
Requirements
  • Around 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in a GBS, BPO or Shared Service Center. Preferable for the USA
  • Strong understanding of accounting terminology in English
  • Strong communication skills in writing
  • Understanding of Cash and Accrual basis
  • Experience working from home
