Accounting Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Accounting Professional to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled individual to take on a challenging role that requires strong accounting expertise and business acumen.

Job Description
  • Month-End Close: Lead the month-end close process, creating journal entries, accruals, and adjustments while ensuring timely and accurate postings.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing internal financial reports, supporting management with variance analysis, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of financial reporting packages.
  • Account Reconciliations and Controls: Reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensure resolution of discrepancies, and maintain the integrity of financial data.
  • Tax Filings and Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax forms, including sales and use tax, business licenses, and annual reports.
  • Audit Support: Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for external audits, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Process Improvement and System: Identify and lead initiatives to streamline and automate accounting processes, collaborate with stakeholders to improve workflows, and assist with ERP system optimization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • CPA certification or active progress toward CPA is a plus.
  • 4+ years of accounting experience, including hands-on experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial controls.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, such as NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
