About the Role

This position is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, managing daily functions, and ensuring financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Operations Management: Manage all daily accounting functions, including expenses, fixed assets, leasing, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting.
  • Subsidiary Accounting Management: Supervise accounting activities for subsidiaries and work directly with third-party accounting firms.
  • Financial Integrity: Review and analyze intercompany accounts, post subsidiary trial balances, and perform variance analysis to ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare monthly and year-end financial reports, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and manage audits and filings for subsidiaries.
  • Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing solutions to enhance accounting processes and provide support for various ad hoc projects.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree or CPA certification being a plus.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably within a BPO or service company, and a background with an international company is a must.
  • Must have a strong grasp of US GAAP, financial controls, and working knowledge of forecasting and financial reports.
  • Needs to be able to work effectively with all levels of management and motivate others outside of their direct control.
  • Possesses strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication abilities and a flexible attitude towards changing priorities.
