Medical Transportation Coordinator

The primary role of this position is to ensure seamless transportation services for medical clients by efficiently handling calls and dispatching trips. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while effectively managing a high-volume call environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize RingCentral VOIP or similar communication platforms to answer incoming calls and respond to client inquiries.
  • Coordinate with drivers and clients to modify or cancel trips based on changing medical appointments and transportation needs.
  • Monitor driver locations in real-time and adjust routes as necessary to address delays or last-minute changes.
  • Communicate live updates to drivers to ensure smooth pick-ups and drop-offs.
  • Verify client eligibility and accurately enter data into CTS TripMaster software.
  • Provide clients with trip confirmations, estimated pick-up times, and driver details.
  • Address client concerns and complaints while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in NEMT dispatching or customer service is preferred.
  • Ability to learn our dispatch software and adapt to new technologies.
  • Familiarity with RingCentral VOIP or similar call center systems.
  • Strong customer service skills, including conflict resolution and patience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA policies and confidentiality best practices.
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely.
