The Business Development Liaison plays a vital role in fostering partnerships and driving growth within the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation sector.
This position involves building relationships, coordinating proposals, managing credentialing documentation, and communicating with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Research and maintain a comprehensive list of national and state-level NEMT brokers and key contacts.
- Develop and execute outreach strategies, schedule calls, and follow up with brokers and vendor onboarding teams.
- Prepare and submit capability statements, RFP forms, and introductory documentation.
- Coordinate the collection of essential documents from affiliates (insurance, licenses, compliance forms).
- Maintain a CRM or outreach tracker with current status, deadlines, and next steps.
- Provide administrative and operational support for NEMT onboarding initiatives.
- Ensure all broker requirements (e.g., vehicle compliance, HIPAA, background checks) are tracked and addressed.
- Prepare weekly status reports and participate in remote check-in meetings.
- 2+ years of experience in business development, outreach, credentialing, or virtual assistance.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills; confident in professional email correspondence.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; comfortable working across multiple systems.
- Experience working remotely for U.S.-based clients is preferred.
- Familiarity with productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Trello/Asana, and Zoom is beneficial.
- Previous experience in healthcare, insurance, or transportation industries is an asset.
- Ability to work with partial overlap to U.S. time zones (Pacific or Central Time)
