Fire Alarm System Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm System Specialist to manage our service operations effectively. The ideal candidate will oversee daily activities, ensure seamless communication with customers, schedule service calls, and coordinate technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle and manage incoming service requests
  • Respond to out-of-hours customer inquiries
  • Schedule service appointments and dispatch technicians as needed
  • Communicate with customers via email and phone to address concerns and service requirements
  • Provide timely notifications and updates to customers regarding service status
  • Assess fire alarm system issues remotely and determine the best course of action
  • Determine whether to dispatch a technician or provide troubleshooting guidance
  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience working with fire alarm systems is required
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong ability to diagnose fire alarm issues over the phone and recommend the best solution
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective customer interactions
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with technicians efficiently
  • Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making skills to determine service requirements and deliver solutions
  • Software Proficiency: Experience using scheduling and service management software applications
