This role is for a detail-oriented individual as a Full-Time Logistics Sales Account Specialist, driving business growth by securing new shipping customers and delivering exceptional service to existing ones.
Key Responsibilities
* Secure new shipping customers and deliver exceptional service to existing ones.* Promote innovative transportation solutions and negotiate shipping contracts.* Build lasting client relationships and create a positive first impression.* Generate new leads and prospect accounts using cold-calling techniques* Develop entrance strategies and qualify your prospects' transportation spend to generate new business partners and individual brand profitability* Present multiple modes of transportation to your customer base and prepare rates for prospective business partners* Dispatch to your carriers and update your loads within the transportation management system* Maintain contact with your carriers and other parties handling freight to ensure the shipper and consignee are aware of issues or challenges* Continuously develop your carrier base to provide optimal solutions for your customers*
