Strategy and Planning Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategy and Planning Expert to lead our business's strategic development and execution.

About the Role

The Strategy and Planning Expert will be responsible for spearheading the annual strategy planning and quarterly strategy reviews. This involves leading the function that creates and updates the business strategy, ensuring its effective execution, and providing strategic advisory to different divisions.

This role requires a strong ability to manage stakeholders and teams, as well as a proven track record in strategy and project governance. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in a similar role and a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.

  • Spearhead the annual strategy planning and quarterly strategy reviews
  • Co-lead the creation of the Balanced Scorecards
  • Provide market competitive intelligence to aid management decision-making
Duties and Responsibilities:Strategy Planning

Strategy Advisory
  • Lead the function that provides strategic advisory projects to solve specific problems, capture opportunities, and improve internal ways-of-working
  • Provide ad hoc studies requested by various divisions to aid decision-making
Strategy Execution
  • Lead the program management office/PMO
  • Synthesize the project portfolio, prioritizing projects, linking them to the overall strategy, and identifying interdependencies
  • Ensure the program governance structure is updated
  • Drive best practices in project management across the business
  • Update the Head of SMBI on progress, risks, and support needed for B2B projects
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience in a strategy and project governance role
  • Able to manage stakeholders and a team
  • Highest level of knowledge in financial analysis is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in any business-related degree is a minimum, and a Master's degree is an advantage
