Universal Robina Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Human Capital Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Management Process Development: Design, implement, and continuously improve performance evaluation and appraisal processes that align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Training and Development: Facilitate training sessions for all employees on talent management processes from goal setting, competency assessment, and individual development planning to performance appraisal.
  • Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance expectations, goals, and appraisal procedures.
  • Adoption of Performance Management Tools: Drive the utilization of performance management tools (Darwinbox and manual forms) to sustain good adoption across all business units/countries.

Performance Metrics and Reporting:

  • Create Consistent Guidelines: Establish consistent guidelines for performance metrics to track employee performance across all business units.
  • Regular Reports: Prepare regular reports for leadership and the HR team on performance trends and best practices.
  • Performance Data Analysis: Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and propose strategies to enhance utilization/adoption of TM modules.

Policies and Compliance:

  • Compliance: Ensure all performance management processes comply with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Consistency: Monitor and ensure consistency in performance management processes across all functions for both URC Philippines and URC International.

Qualifications:

  • Degree Requirement: College graduate, any degree.
  • Performance Management Understanding: Deep understanding and appreciation of performance management processes, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder priorities.
  • Facilitation Skills: Strong facilitation skills.
  • Collaborative Work Style: Ability to work collaboratively with leadership, managers, and employees.
  • Data Analysis: Data-driven with the ability to analyze performance reports and trends as well as utilization rate (system and module) and make actionable recommendations.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in Performance Management Tools: Proficient in the use of performance management tools such as Darwinbox.
  • Training Capability: Can train HR personnel in the use of Darwinbox system – navigation and use of admin access.
  • Customer Service Orientation: High level of customer service orientation (can attend to employee system concerns and questions) on Darwinbox issues and navigation concerns.
  • Change Management Advocate: Can assess user requirements on the use of Darwinbox and recommend customization.
  • Continuous Improvement Champion: Change management advocate and continuous improvement champion.
