Customer Service Representative Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Customer Service Representative to support our fast-growing electrical services business.

About the Role

This part-time position (25 hours/week) is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills and experience in customer service, scheduling, administration, and light marketing tasks. You will play a key role in streamlining daily operations, enabling the business owner to focus on growth and team management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle 15–20 inbound and outbound calls daily from new and existing clients.
  • Respond to email and text inquiries, including follow-ups and accounts receivable reminders.
  • Schedule jobs and assign them to the appropriate field staff using ServiceMate.
  • Manage CRM and lead pipeline through Podium.
  • Update job statuses and customer information in ServiceMate.
  • Upload invoices to Xero.
  • Create and post 2–3 weekly updates on social media platforms.
  • Promote and leverage business's reviews.
  • Manage client's calendar and appointments.
  • Handle light reporting and follow-up tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Excellent English communication (verbal and written).
  • Previous experience handling inbound/outbound customer calls.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable learning and using modern software tools.
  • Tech-savvy with good grasp of modern software tools.
  • Experience in social media content management.
  • Comfortable working independently and proactively.
  • Familiarity with CRM and job management software.
