Job Title: Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to play a vital role in the construction industry.

  • Prepare, review, and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Verify contract terms, scope coverage, and inclusions/exclusions to guarantee accuracy.
  • Double-check material quantities and scope coverage against project requirements to avoid discrepancies.
  • Utilize Bluebeam to review drawings, markups, and perform takeoffs as required for project success.
  • Identify and recommend solutions for discrepancies or gaps in contractor submissions.
  • Review and compare contractor quotes and scopes to ensure accurate evaluation and selection.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of contractor pricing and project-related documentation for future reference.
  • Provide progress updates and reporting to the Construction Manager on contract status and variations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in contract administration or project support within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam for drawing review, takeoffs, and documentation.
  • Strong understanding of contract terms, scopes, and construction documentation.
  • Ability to review and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • High attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with construction management software.
  • Organised, process-driven, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
