About the Position:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Professional to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering customized human resources leadership across multiple facets of HR, including culture management, employee engagement, performance management, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, employee and prospect engagement, productivity, and development of HR within the organization.
- Works closely with department leaders to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity.
- Create, implement, and measure employee engagement and other culture-centric initiatives to make the workplace excellent.
- Collaborate with HR staff to ensure that HR processes across all organizational offices are aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and core values.
- Participate in corporate interviews to assess sound cultural fit.
- Assist in drafting employment agreements and coordinate with other departments to facilitate efficient and effective onboarding of new employees.
- Provide support and guidance to management when complex, sensitive questions arise, including the administration of routine tasks in sensitive situations such as disciplinary action and involuntary terminations.
- Analyzes trends and develops metrics to develop programs to meet key business objectives and goals.
- Prepares reports and oversees the submission of required regulatory reporting, including Department of Labor Reports, ACA Reporting, and Census Bureau Reports.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Partners with payroll team to ensure compliance of payroll and tax reporting processes.
- Manages group benefit plans and administers 401k and helps administer plans as a backup to the Benefits Assistant.
- Point of contact for investigations to resolve employee complaints/allegations and address teammate grievances.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years' experience in Human Resources required.
- HR experience strongly preferred.
- PHR or SHRM Certification Preferred
- Knowledge of ERISA, FMLA, EEO Compliance, Worker's Compensation, Unemployment Claims processing, and COBRA.
- Demonstrated ability to act with professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
- Excellent written, verbal, and social communication skills, and a dedication to provide outstanding people-care and customer service.
- Microsoft Office knowledge required.
- Experience with ADP preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to keep information confidential and commitment to produce high-quality work.
