About the role

As an HR Officer at Southern Arms Corporation', you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR functions of this dynamic and growing organisation. In this full-time position based in Cagayan de Oro Misamis Oriental, you will be responsible for a variety of HR tasks to ensure the smooth running of the company's operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, payroll, benefits, and offboarding
  • Assisting with the implementation of HR policies and procedures to maintain compliance with local labour laws and regulations
  • Coordinating and facilitating employee training and development programs
  • Providing HR advice and support to managers and employees as needed
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records and information
  • Collaborating with the HR team to drive continuous improvement in HR processes and practices

What we're looking for

  • Relevant degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and compliance regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels
  • Proficient in using HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
