Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Freight Cargo Marketing Associate to develop and implement marketing strategies that promote our freight and logistics services. The ideal candidate will have experience in the logistics or transportation industry and a strong understanding of both B2B marketing and supply chain operations.

Marketing Strategy & Planning

* Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote freight forwarding, cargo handling, and logistics services.

* Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.

* Analyze competitors, industry trends, and customer behavior to inform marketing decisions.

Lead Generation & Business Development Support

* Create and manage campaigns to generate qualified leads for the sales team.

* Coordinate with the sales team to convert marketing leads into customers.

* Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote brand visibility and generate prospects.

Digital Marketing & Branding

* Manage digital marketing activities, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media campaigns.

* Oversee the creation and updating of marketing services, including brochures, presentations, and case studies.

* Maintain and update the company website with fresh content, service updates, and promotions.

Customer Engagement & Retention

* Develop targeted campaigns for customer retention and up selling.

* Monitor customer satisfaction and gather feedback for service improvement.

* Create and manage client newsletters, announcements, and other communications.

Requirements

Education

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience

* 1-2 years of experience in marketing within the freight forwarding, cargo, or logistics industry.

Skills

* Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, shipping, and cargo logistics.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

* Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.).

* Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM).

* Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Attributes

* Existing network in logistics or freight-related industries.

* Multilingual abilities are a plus.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
