  • Create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics.
  • Focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes.
  • Evaluate freight spending and identify productivity opportunities.
">Job Responsibilities">
  • Develop procurement strategies for global freight (air, ocean, ground) to secure cost-effective and reliable transportation solutions.
  • Align procurement strategy and execution with regional transportation leaders and BU logistics council members across the globe.
  • Execute competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes for global transportation service – Air, Ocean and small parcel.
  • Work with global freight forwarders and collaborate across business units and different regions on cost saving initiatives.
">Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Fluent written and oral English as working language.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in logistics roles from global forwarding industry (key account management role preferred with solid operation knowledge).
  • Independent project management experience is a must.
