About the role

Gramans Group of Companies, a leading freight forwarding company, is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Manager (Freight Forwarding) to join our team in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. This full-time position will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operations and growth of our freight forwarding business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist the Freight Forwarding Manager in overseeing day-to-day freight forwarding operations
  2. Coordinate with customers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight
  3. Facilitate customs clearance procedures and liaise with relevant authorities
  4. Monitor and report on key performance indicators to drive operational improvements
  5. Provide support in the development and implementation of freight forwarding strategies
  6. Assist in the training and development of the freight forwarding team
  7. Contribute to the continuous enhancement of processes and systems to improve efficiency

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a freight forwarding or logistics role
  2. Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes, customs regulations, and logistics operations
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with customers and stakeholders
  4. Proficient in data analysis and report generation to support decision-making
  5. Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
  6. Adaptable and proactive in addressing challenges and implementing solutions
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with logistics management software
