Order Management Specialist

Join us to leverage your organisational skills and analytical expertise as an Order Management Specialist.

The role involves end-to-end process management, ensuring timely invoicing and order delivery in accordance with customer contracts.

Responsibilities include checking quote accuracy, monitoring lead times, escalating pending orders, managing loan/trial machine deliveries, handling returns, and administering month-end procedures.

  • Own the entire Order Management Process from start to finish
  • Verify that quotes are complete, accurate, and align with signed paperwork, including contract details, before creating and booking orders
  • Monitor order delivery timelines against customer SLAs for timely invoicing
  • Elevate orders awaiting credit clearance for internal and external lease arrangements
  • Clean up incomplete orders and ensure data integrity
  • Manage loan/trial machine deliveries and collections at customer sites
  • Process return items
  • Oversee External Lease orders until activation, guaranteeing orders are activated and Canon receives prompt payment from leasing partners
  • Facilitate Movement Requests for customer collections using the correct processes and update install base records
  • Collaborate with customers and Contract Management to cleanse data or obtain additional information when necessary
  • Resolve transport-related issues and liaise with stakeholders on transport SLA results
  • Administer monthly procedures such as accruals, support sheet accruals, and retro-accruals
  • Ensure account maintenance, including pricing schemes, for accurate reporting
  • Attend customer review meetings to address queries and recommend service enhancements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field, strong analytical skills, and experience in sales and customer-centric roles. They should be highly organised, detail-focused, and able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Specialist Knowledge: product and solutions knowledge to understand implications for order processing
  • Previous Industry Experience: Sales and customer-focused, accurate data entry, and strong analytical skills
  • Bachelor's Degree holder in any business-related discipline
  • Highly customer-focused and delivery-oriented
  • Strong communication skills to understand (internal) customer issues and find ways to exceed expectations
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills
  • Attention to detail and quality-conscious
  • Able to interpret, manipulate, and use complex data forms
