Accountant Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Job Responsibilities

">
  • Financial Record Keeping: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.">
  • Monthly Close Procedures: You will assist in preparing monthly close packages for foreign subsidiaries and perform day-to-day accounting processes and procedures relating to fixed assets, prepaids, payroll, and certain accruals.">
  • Bank Reconciliations: You will review daily bank activities and prepare journal entries for bank reconciliations.">
  • Quarterly Reviews and Year-End Audit Procedures: You will assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audit procedures with external auditors.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

">
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance: A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.">
  • 5 Years of General Ledger Experience: 5 years of general ledger experience is required.">
  • International Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of international accounting, intercompany reconciliation, and foreign exchange is required.">
  • NetSuite Experience: NetSuite experience is highly desirable.">
  • Detail Oriented and Organized: Highly detail oriented and organized in work.">
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.">
  • Independent Work: Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives.">
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results.">
