Global Financial Leadership Role

The GL Accounting Manager plays a crucial role in providing high-level support to the Global Controller, overseeing financial operations and leading the GL team.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to global general ledger accounting, identify and implement process improvements, and participate in financial audits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the financial close process for the corporate entity and international entities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet/income statement analysis.
  • Oversee the performance of the GL team and collaborate with senior management on cash burn reporting.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the AP team regarding accounting transactions.
  • Calculate and report revenue based on Cost Plus agreement for international entities.
  • Manage fixed assets, prepaid accounts, payroll, benefits, accrued income taxes, and all other accrued liabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP.
  • Intermediate MS Excel and analytical skills, including vLookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
  • Minimum 5+ years of Accounting experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of managerial role.

This role requires a strong understanding of internal control concepts, significant experience with payroll, cash, and capitalized software.
