We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with a minimum of 3 years experience in full-cycle bookkeeping.

Job Description

The Senior Accounting Specialist will be responsible for managing day-to-day record keeping, preparing financial statements, and assisting with client planning and budgeting. Additionally, the successful candidate will act as our firm's expert on internal processes, documenting what is learned and assisting in the development of controls and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage A/R, A/P, and/or invoicing
  • Prepare client's monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements
  • Assist with client planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Document internal processes and assist in developing controls and improvements
Requirements:
  • Graduate of Accounting/Finance/Business/Bookkeeping or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with full cycle bookkeeping
  • Comfortable learning new systems/software
  • Knowledge of CRA requirements and filings
  • Experience with cloud-based bookkeeping software preferred
