Junior Treasury Finance Specialist

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the treasury finance department of a leading organization. As a Junior Treasury Finance Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the group's treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily cash positions and reconcile any discrepancies between treasury transactions and statements.
  • Manage exceptions in the treasury management system and resolve issues with banks and vendors.
  • Ensure data integrity in the treasury management system and provide support to users with payment troubleshooting.
  • Maintain and administer bank accounts across multiple banking platforms, including user setup and new account onboarding.
  • Assist with global cash position reporting and analysis.
  • Execute treasury payments as required (e.g., debt and interest, FX, M&A, dividends, Interco funding) in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support foreign exchange trade confirmations.
  • Administer credit card programs and users.
  • Resolve treasury requests and queries through our service platform.
  • Cover essential treasury and cash management issues for markets outside of European business hours.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide necessary financial information and support.
  • Assist with local security requirements.
  • Prepare ad-hoc treasury reports as required.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Fluent written and spoken English (C1), with additional languages being an advantage but not required.
  • A recognized bachelor's degree and/or treasury qualification.
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in treasury or finance, preferably for a large multinational organization.
  • Experience in managing multicurrency bank accounts.
  • Strong IT and Excel skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with others at all levels.
