Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
  • Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
  • Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
  • Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
  • Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer.
  • Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree (on business course or any 4 year course).
  • Has sufficient background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
  • Has the ability to provide quality customer service.
  • Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision.
  • Minimum of 1 year/s experience in a similar industry.
  • Average communication and people skills.
  • Computer literate.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a full-time position.
  • The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
