About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Store Supervisor/Floor Supervisor to join our team at Isetann Department Store and Supermarket. This is a full-time position based in Recto, Manila City, Metro Manila. As a Store Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our retail store, overseeing the day-to-day activities of the sales team and driving exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of the sales team, ensuring they provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets either in the Department Store or the Supermarket
  2. Manage the daily operations of the store, including inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling
  3. Provide leadership, coaching, and training to the sales team to enhance their skills and performance
  4. Collaborate with the management team to implement company policies and procedures
  5. Monitor and report on store performance, identifying areas for improvement
  6. Ensure the store environment is well-maintained, clean, and visually appealing to customers
  7. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a department store or Supermarket supervisory or management role
  2. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team
  3. Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
  4. Proficient in inventory management, store operations, and cash handling procedures
  5. Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with customers and team members
  6. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of store presentation and cleanliness
  7. Familiarity with department store and supermarket industry trends and best practices
