Legal Counsel Job Description

LivePerson is seeking a seasoned legal counsel to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial contracts, data privacy, and AI compliance.

  • Job Summary: Provide strategic legal advice to support business growth while managing risk.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Negotiate complex commercial contracts with enterprise customers and partners.
    • Assist the Sales and Partnership teams with new opportunities, RFPs, and deal structuring.
    • Provide legal advice on procurement, data privacy, employment, and corporate governance matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience as a legal counsel in a global technology company.
  • Strong expertise in SaaS sales and commercial contracts, including licensing agreements.
  • Experience with data privacy, AI compliance, and data mapping.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple stakeholders, and handle competing priorities.
