Job Title: Senior Legal Advisor

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Legal Advisor to join our team.

About the Role

The Senior Legal Advisor will play a pivotal role in managing litigation and labor relations for Globe operations in LUZON/GMA.

  • Consolidates court appearances and outcomes for Head of LUZON/GMA litigation and labor relations.
  • Prepares pleadings, reports, and implements litigation activities and services for Globe operations in the area.
  • Coordinates with CLSG lawyers on litigation and labor relations concerns.
  • Assists in research on litigation and labor relations matters for LUZON GMA.
  • Acts as legal counsel for LUZON GMA areas and appears in official court hearings.
  • Ensures and protects Globe business welfare in court litigation or labor-related cases.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Case Resolution Rate: Percentage of cases resolved successfully within a given timeframe.
  • Compliance Rate: Percentage of compliance with relevant laws and regulations across all operations.
  • Client Satisfaction Score: Measured through surveys or feedback, gauging client satisfaction with legal services provided.
  • Litigation Costs Management: Monitoring and controlling litigation expenses compared to budgeted costs.
  • Timeliness of Legal Advice: Average time taken to provide legal opinions on urgent matters.
Main Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements comprehensive legal strategies to manage current and anticipated litigation.
  • Provides timely and effective legal advice to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manages litigation costs and ensures efficient use of resources.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with external lawyers and service providers.
Deliverables
  • Comprehensive Legal Reports: Detailed reports on ongoing litigation cases, compliance status, and risk assessments.
  • Drafted Legal Documents: Timely preparation and review of contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Training and Compliance Programs: Development and implementation of training sessions on legal compliance and workplace policies.
  • Litigation Strategy Plans: Strategic plans for managing current and anticipated litigation, including risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regular updates and consultations with internal stakeholders regarding legal issues and resolutions.
