Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide technical support to end users across the organization. This remote role is crucial in delivering exceptional IT service to employees at all levels, including senior and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for PCs, Windows operating systems, and Apple mobile devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and fundamental network issues remotely.
  • Document and manage support requests through an ITSM/ticketing platform.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with users to facilitate prompt and efficient resolutions.
  • Escalate complex incidents to senior technicians as required.
  • Adhere to security and confidentiality policies.
  • Address printing concerns, both local and network-based.
  • Utilize secure remote access tools for user computer support.
  • Troubleshoot audio and video issues encountered during video conferencing sessions.
  • Administer new user onboarding processes by adding accounts to relevant systems.
  • Oversee user deactivation procedures by removing accounts from these platforms as necessary.
  • Provide ongoing support for Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments.
  • Create and manage distribution groups within Office 365.
  • Add and remove user accounts in various platforms.
  • Resolve issues related to applications and systems.
  • Manage user accounts and perform password resets.
  • Monitor system health and performance using monitoring tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate organizational, time-management, and follow-up abilities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and address sensitive requests professionally.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, supporting employees at all levels.
  • Operate independently in dynamic work environments.
  • Have prior experience providing support for PC hardware, Windows, and Apple devices.
  • Understand basic networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Be experienced in Microsoft 365 applications and Azure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
  • Be familiar with Active Directory, particularly user and group management.
  • Have knowledge of ITIL principles and IT Service Management frameworks.
  • Have previously supported executive-level personnel.
