Senior Accountant Job Description

We are actively seeking a seasoned accountant to be a key member of the accounting team, reporting to the Global Controller. In this role, you will take ownership of accounting at several portfolio companies and act as a consultant to the portfolio company management team.

  • Manage the month-end close process for multiple companies.
  • Record bank transactions and reconcile bank accounts.
  • Prepare general ledger entries and maintain records and files.
Accounting Responsibilities
  1. Assist with monthly general ledger reconciliations.
  2. Contribute to the development of new accounting systems, programs, controls, and procedures.
  3. Assist with research on technical accounting issues and document findings in accounting memorandums.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
  • Master's degree in related field and/or CPA preferred.
  • 6+ years' experience in accounting required.
