Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Tax Manager to join our team in Manila. As a member of our pioneer team, you will work on diverse projects for leading private, mid-market, and emerging businesses across various industries.

As a Tax Manager, you will gain exposure to a broad range of clients while being supported by a high-performing team culture.

Responsibilities
  • Manage one or more client engagements or components of large-scale projects.
  • Develop and implement indirect tax strategies ensuring compliance with GST, VAT, and other indirect tax obligations.
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of indirect tax returns.
  • Coordinate with external tax authorities during audits.
  • Analyze tax implications of business transactions and advise management.
  • Contribute towards training internal teams on indirect tax best practices.
  • Engage in regular client contact and attend client presentations and meetings with senior leaders.
  • Develop into a mentor to assist less experienced team members and encourage their continued professional development.
Expertise & Qualifications
  • Strong technical knowledge in tax compliance, advisory, and accounting standards.
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in Australian taxation and accounting legislation.
  • Strong expertise in tax consulting or advisory.
