Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Assistant Vice President.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring superior service and timely delivery of accurate information.
  • Have responsibility for client portfolios from start to finish, including managing client deliverables, reviewing daily cash & position reconciliations, and serving as point-of-contact for multiple clients.
  • Lead a team of Associates and Senior Associates, providing recommendations, capturing observations, conducting training, facilitating delegation, and monitoring performance evaluation.
  • Review daily client deliverables, ensure deadlines are met, and plan, delegate, and schedule effectively.
  • Manage client mailboxes, liaise with internal stakeholders, and complete additional ad hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Overall 5 years of experience in Accounting field
  • Minimum 3 years of Fund Accounting experience required (ex. Hedge funds, private equity)
  • Financial Reporting experience an advantage
  • Prior managerial or supervisory experience an advantage
  • Experience in navigating fund accounting systems (ex. Invest One, eFront, Investran) and operating in a daily reconciliations environment is an advantage
Education:
  • A university degree (B.A./ B.Sc./ M.B.A.) in Business (preferably specializing in accountancy or another financial-related discipline)
  • Professional certification as CPA or other international accounting certifications is an advantage
