Family Care Advocate Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Care Advocate to join our team. As a Family Care Advocate, you will play a vital role in empowering underserved families to access care and navigate the complex healthcare system.

The Role

This is a full-time remote position with a flexible schedule. You will be working with real families and caregivers to collect, review, and track required documentation. You will also make outbound calls and respond to inbound inquiries to guide families through the documentation process.

  • You will handle a high volume of phone interactions daily while maintaining professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
  • You will ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with state and Medicaid/Medicare regulations.
  • You will communicate clearly and compassionately with families via phone, text, and email.
  • You will maintain organized records and track expiring documents, sending timely reminders.
  • You will collaborate with onboarding, credentialing, and family support teams to deliver a smooth experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in customer service, administrative, or healthcare support roles
  • Proven experience handling high-volume inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail when reviewing documents
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, shared drives, or document tracking tools
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize follow-ups, and meet deadlines
  • A compassionate and patient approach when working with families and caregivers
