Procurement Lead Job Summary

This leadership role involves optimizing the procurement function to deliver timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. The ideal candidate will develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals, build strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, collaborate with project teams and other departments to forecast procurement needs, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and legal regulations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Strategize and execute procurement plans to meet business objectives.
  • Foster partnerships with top suppliers to drive value creation.
  • Work collaboratively across functions to identify and address procurement requirements.
  • Maintain a high level of compliance with procurement standards and laws.
  • Lead and manage a team of procurement specialists, providing guidance on best practices and supporting their professional development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in procurement, with 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage supplier performance, and drive process improvements.
Preferred Skills:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience working in the construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
