As a Disaster Relief Call Center Representative, you will play a vital role in our team, providing exceptional customer service to those affected by disasters.

Job Description:

We are seeking highly motivated and empathetic individuals to work as needed in response to disaster relief efforts. This is a temporary, remote position contingent on hurricane disaster relief needs.

Candidates accepted for this role will be contacted on an as-needed basis through email and text messaging. The typical working hours are from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM ET, with shifts ranging from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist customers with service inquiries via phone or other communication channels.
  2. Leverage our advanced customer service techniques and account management systems to provide exceptional solutions.
  3. Improve the overall customer experience during challenging times.
  4. Escalate customer dissatisfaction to the appropriate channels when necessary.

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words per minute).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • High reliability, with regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation.
  • Customer-centric mindset (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious).
  • Ability to multitask, stay focused, and self-manage.
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
