We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join our team in obtaining Employer Identification Numbers (EINs) from the IRS for newly formed companies. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating with the IRS daily during US business hours to acquire EINs on behalf of clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Contact the IRS via phone to obtain EINs on behalf of our clients.
  • Represent clients professionally and ensure compliance with IRS regulations.
  • Manage and track EIN applications, maintaining accurate records of all interactions and documentation.
  • Address any issues or follow-ups related to EIN acquisition efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Own the process of submitting ITIN applications to a 3rd party vendor.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience working with the IRS on various cases, particularly involving EIN acquisition.
  • An active PTIN number, SSN number, or certification as a CAA (Certified Acceptance Agent) or EA (Enrolled Agent).
  • A strong understanding of IRS procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to represent clients professionally.
  • Detailed and organized with strong time management abilities.
