Job Overview

The role of a Staffing Coordinator plays a pivotal part in maintaining the operational efficiency of various tasks. In this position, you will work closely with team members to ensure seamless task completion and effective coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling Optimization: Manage staff schedules for different product lines, ensuring the right personnel are assigned to suitable groups and clients each day.
  • Real-Time Resource Allocation: Identify and address real-time gaps in staffing by reallocating resources or contacting available team members, focusing on maximizing coverage.
  • Attendance and Time-Off Management: Process time-off requests, track employee attendance, and approve timecards according to established policies.
  • Collaboration with HR: Work with Human Resources on attendance concerns, leave of absences, accommodations, and related matters.
  • Performance Monitoring and Adjustment: Monitor system data to track care activities and virtual nurse task completion in real-time. Identify potential service delays and alert management when nearing SLA limits.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with leadership to maintain optimal service levels and identify areas for improvement in scheduling efficiency and staff productivity.
  • Insightful Reporting: Provide data-driven insights and reports on scheduling efficiency, workforce utilization, and service level performance.
  • Effective Communication and Collaboration: Communicate with team leaders, supervisors, and resource pool nurses to ensure alignment on staffing adjustments and service needs. Maintain clear lines of communication with all teams to support smooth operations and real-time problem-solving.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • College Graduate: Completion of a 4-year degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in Workforce Management or a related field (healthcare scheduling experience preferred).
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with scheduling software (Humanity preferred) and productivity monitoring systems.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to monitor real-time data and make proactive staffing decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work on-site and adapt to shifting schedules (24/7 operation).
