Job Title: Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented individual to assist with the day-to-day management of furniture deliveries.

  • The ideal candidate will be customer focused and comfortable working with spreadsheets, order tracking and e-commerce systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sending order confirmation and thank-you emails to customers outlining delivery or pick-up expectations
  • Liaising with customers to provide clear, timely updates on furniture delivery timeframes
  • Coordinating and creating weekly logistics spreadsheets for interstate deliveries
  • Working closely with warehouse and logistics partners to ensure efficient and accurate dispatch of orders
  • Assisting with pre-orders by tracking expected arrival times and scheduling deliveries accordingly
  • Tracking, monitoring and following up on deliveries to ensure timely completion
  • Maintaining accurate records of delivery schedules and customer interactions
  • Providing administrative support related to logistics and customer service
  • Supporting website-related tasks in the future
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in customer service, logistics or e-commerce operations is preferred
  • Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms is required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for clear and professional customer communications
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and record keeping
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets for delivery coordination
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
Work Arrangement & Expectations:
  • This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement
  • Successful candidates will be expected to be available for meetings and collaboration during core business hours and disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
  • They will also be expected to reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as 'Independent Contractor')
