Educational Content Developer


Description:
  • We are seeking an Educational Content Developer to join our team. As a key member of our instructional design unit, you will be responsible for creating high-quality educational content that engages and informs learners.
  • Key responsibilities include designing and developing curriculum outlines, instructional materials, and multimedia resources that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • You will work closely with subject matter experts, educators, and stakeholders to leverage diverse perspectives and expertise in the instructional design process.
  • Additional responsibilities include managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budgetary constraints and stakeholder expectations.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive success.

Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design theories, and best practices in educational psychology is required.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools (i.e., Articulate 360), multimedia production software (e.g., Vyond, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Genially, etc.), and emerging educational technologies is essential.
  • An ability to think creatively and analytically to design innovative solutions that address diverse learning needs and challenges is necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, is expected.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines and budgetary constraints, is required.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of teamwork and shared success, is essential.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in instructional design, content development, and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and effectiveness is necessary.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to navigate evolving business needs, technologies, and learning methodologies in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • A passion for lifelong learning and professional development, with a commitment to staying updated on emerging trends and advancements in instructional design and educational technology, is expected.
  • Drive and determination to achieve measurable learning outcomes and impact organizational performance through effective instructional design and development is necessary.
