
Learning Materials Designer

We are seeking an experienced Course Developer to join our team. As a Course Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing instructor-led and interactive online courses with multimedia content and gamified elements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Determining and recommending the most effective training strategy, selecting media, conducting project scoping and training needs analysis to identify knowledge, skill, or attitude gaps that can be addressed by training;
- Identifying and writing business, performance, and learning objectives;
- Designing the instructor-led and online training programs based on the identified objectives;
- MAPPING out the content outline and determining the soundest instructional methodologies to employ;
- Conducting extensive research and synthesizing information from various sources;
- Working closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure content accuracy;
- Developing facilitator's guides, participant's guides, job aids, PowerPoint presentations, and other materials for instructor-led courses;
- Designing and developing objective tests and skill tests;
- Planning and executing training evaluation methods to measure job transfer;
- Initiating and participating in review sessions with the Content Development Manager and the client;
- Revising the training program based on feedback and recommendations;
- Conducting train-the-trainer sessions to ensure consistency of training methodologies;
- Facilitating training sessions as needed;
In addition to the above-mentioned responsibilities, you will also be expected to develop highly interactive and gamified eLearning courses for desktops and mobile devices. This includes designing the storyboard, look-and-feel, user interface, and learner interactions; creating animations, navigation schemes, and multimedia content; conducting user acceptability tests; publishing online courses using the SCORM and Non-SCORM standards; and performing administrative tasks including productivity trackers, end-of-week reports, project status updates, and other duties that ensure smooth content development operations.
You may also be required to attend meetings for organizational updates and trainings as needed.
What We Are Looking ForTo succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or Psychology; certification in Training, Instructional Design, and Using Web-Based Training Tools is preferred;
- At least 2 years of experience in designing and developing learning materials, preferably in a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) setting; experience managing related tasks and projects in a Training context;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficiency in MS Office 2007 or later;
- Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline;
- Working experience with a Learning Management System (LMS);
- Knowledge of image manipulation and audio-video editing;
- A professional portfolio of published work;
- Familiarity with the latest trends and research in learning and development and instructional design;
- Flexibility, detail-oriented, open to feedback and criticism;
- Ability to meet deadlines and willing to work long hours to deliver on time;
