  • Job Summary
  • We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Strategy, Risk, and Transaction (SR&T) – Regulatory & Financial Risk practice in Southeast Asia.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in a quantitative discipline and at least 4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Prior experience in banking or consulting is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in statistical tools and programming languages is essential.
  • You will work alongside clients to bring a rigorous, evidence-based analytical capability to help them solve complex issues.
  • This includes revealing insight and delivering value through pragmatic and actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support quantitative modeling efforts in emerging and complex domains, including Credit Risk Modelling, Credit Risk Model Validation, Machine Learning, and AI.
  • Support data processing tasks, including data collection, data processing, data checking, and data cleansing in banking and finance.
  • Provide technical knowledge on Basel II, Basel III, and IFRS 9 projects, addressing complex queries from engagement teams and clients.
  • Design technical solutions and value-adding propositions that meet client needs and drive project success.
  • Oversee training and development for junior team members.

Requirements:

  • A strong academic background, with at least a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in a quantitative or data-related role within banking or consulting.
  • Proficient in statistical tools and programming languages such as SAS, Python, R, Matlab, SQL.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills, with high attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and adaptability abilities, with the capacity to work independently and effectively under demanding timelines.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in high-pressure environments.
