This is an exciting opportunity to work as a corporate governance expert in a dynamic organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and board administration within the company. This includes providing expert advisory services and support to the Board and Executive Management while ensuring compliance with relevant statutory requirements.

  1. Provide accurate advice on corporate compliance and governance.
  2. Facilitate the induction of the Board and coordinate the Board's annual plans.
  3. Develop and circulate a schedule of all Board meetings, committees, and subcommittees.
  4. Ensure that annual Board performance assessments and evaluations are conducted.
  5. Develop agendas for all Board and committee meetings in consultation with the Chairperson.
  6. Provide governance guidance and advice to the Board and EXCO, within the company's corporate governance framework.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in corporate governance, board administration, and compliance, with at least 5 years at a senior level. They should also have legal experience and financial sector knowledge, as well as excellent communication, team management, ethical standards, and conflict navigation skills.

In addition to the required qualifications and experience, the ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder engagement, operational efficiency, ethics & integrity, change management, innovation & problem solving, analytical skills, strategic partnerships & networking, social & environmental risk management, performance management & accountability, communication skills, technology & digital transformation, decision-making skills.
