Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create accurate and timely charge and credit entries to various accounts
  • Process travel agent commissions in accordance with established guidelines
  • Ensure that accounts, statements, and follow-up letters are mailed on schedule
  • Monitor overdue accounts and provide necessary information to relevant parties
  • Manage advance deposits by recording, posting, and balancing
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve account disputes
  • Promote effective communication with travel agents regarding commissions
  • Balance subsidiary accounts receivable ledgers and prepare aged trial balances
  • Develop and maintain accurate reports on accounts receivable
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Administrative Duties
  • Ensure that all tasks are performed with the highest level of quality and professionalism
  • Report any unusual incidents or guest complaints to management
  • Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies
  • Suggest cost-saving initiatives for guest supplies and services
  • Follow company procedures and protocols
Technical Skills
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using computer systems and software applications
  • Utilize knowledge of accounting principles and practices to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Cultivate strong relationships with colleagues and external partners
  • Effectively communicate with guests and colleagues through written and verbal interactions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Adhere to company standards and expectations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Participate in community projects to promote hotel image and community relationships
Required Qualifications
  • High vocational diploma in Accounting
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Analytical mindset and proactive approach
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
