Job Title: Billing and Collections

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Billing and Collections professional to join our team at JOB MATCHMAKER. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for assisting in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in financial management, including budgeting and management reporting.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including obtaining payment authorities and preparing for payment.
  • Prepare and send invoices to debtors, follow up on payments, and maintain expected payment dates in cash flow spreadsheets.
  • Reconcile all bank accounts and credit cards on a regular basis.
  • Assist in the preparation and documentation of accruals.
  • Maintain the Asset Register and Depreciation Schedule.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including the Agency's financial statements and annual audits.
Requirements:

  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work in a busy environment.
  • Sound problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new skills, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Qualifications and Education: Knowledge of accounts receivable/accounts payable, strong administration skills, knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures, proficient in relevant computer applications, especially Excel.
Work Environment:
  • Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm.
  • Overtime and holiday pay.
  • Casual attire.
  • Medical, Loans, Miscellaneous allowance.
