Revenue Cycle Specialist Opportunity

The role of a Revenue Cycle Specialist plays a critical part in ensuring efficient operation of revenue cycle processes, maintaining accuracy and compliance while delivering exceptional patient satisfaction.

This specialist will collaborate with the dental team to review and process claims, verify insurance information, investigate denied or delayed claims, and ensure timely payments.

  • Credentialing: Complete and process provider applications, maintain accurate provider data, communicate with the team throughout the credentialing process, and follow up on application statuses and missing information.
  • Billing and AR: Review all aspects of the revenue cycle process, utilize practice management software, investigate and resolve denied or underpaid claims, monitor aging reports, and collaborate with providers and staff to gather necessary documentation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in dental billing and revenue cycle management.
  • Proficiency with dental billing software (OpenDental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and dental coding (CPT, ICD-10).
  • Strong understanding of insurance billing processes and dental insurance plans.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of dental billing systems, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to learn quickly. They must be detail-oriented, have high attention to accuracy, and be able to prioritize tasks independently.
