Revenue Cycle Optimization Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Optimization Specialist to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in streamlining revenue cycles and ensuring timely collections.

  • Efficiently manage accounts receivable (AR) collections processes, minimizing delays and optimizing payment schedules.
  • Review and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances to prevent losses and maintain cash flow.
  • Analyze AR aging reports to identify areas for improvement and prioritize collection efforts based on delinquency levels.
  • Collaborate with the billing and coding team to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims, reducing denials and errors.
  • Proven experience as a Revenue Cycle Optimization Specialist or similar role in the healthcare industry is essential.
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems to track and manage accounts receivable activities is required.
  • Strong understanding of medical billing and insurance claims processes is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are vital for resolving payment issues and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and exceed performance targets is essential.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or related field and minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare revenue cycle optimization.
