Job Title: Customer Service Expert

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Customer Service Expert. This role will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inbound and Outbound Calls: Respond to client inquiries via phone, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Documentation Assistance: Assist clients in completing necessary documentation to meet quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Patient Support: Collaborate with clients to obtain complete prescriptions, PCP referral requests, and medical records as required for the verification of benefits process.
  • Facility Inquiries: Respond promptly and courteously to incoming facility inquiries via telephone, written, or electronic requests.
  • Report Generation: Prepare standardized facility reports, including pipeline reports, encounters reports, business reviews, and patient rosters.
  • Service Resolution: Help resolve service problems by clarifying client complaints, selecting the best solution, expediting resolution, and documenting all complaints per corporate standards.
  • Internal Department Support: Handle inquiries from other internal departments by contacting healthcare providers to resolve various service requests.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Maintain knowledge and use resources effectively regarding Alere Home Monitoring services.
  • Data Management: Utilize Salesforce.com and company databases to capture, report, and maintain accurate patient information.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory policies, procedures, privacy, and security standards, including HIPAA requirements.

About the Opportunity:

This position works out of our Abbott Rapid Diagnostics, Consumer Services and Products division, supporting our rapid diagnostics solutions that address global healthcare challenges.
