Cold Caller – Merchant Services Job Description

This is a remote job that requires working from home.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday 9 AM–5 PM EST (US time).


About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and professional Cold Caller to join our team in the merchant services industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a confident speaking voice, and prior experience in cold calling.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Make outbound calls to potential clients to introduce merchant services and payment solutions.
  • Engage prospects in professional conversations to understand their business needs.
  • Effectively handle objections and provide clear, persuasive responses.
  • Set appointments for the sales team with qualified prospects.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, and outcomes in the CRM system.
  • Achieve or exceed daily/weekly calling and appointment-setting targets.
  • Work independently while contributing to the overall team's success.

Requirements:
  • Fluent in English with a neutral or professional accent.
  • Proven experience in cold calling, preferably in merchant services, payments, or financial services.
  • Strong sales and persuasion skills with the ability to handle objections confidently.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
