This role oversees the development and management of compensation structures, benefits administration, wage compliance, payroll operations, and staff communications related to payroll and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation strategies, salary scales, and incentive structures to ensure fair and equitable pay practices.
  • Oversee benefits enrollment, renewals, and eligibility tracking for various benefit plans, including health, dental, vision, disability, retirement, and more.
  • Monitor compliance with labor laws and regulations to prevent non-compliance risks and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Conduct market analysis and salary benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures.
  • Maintain updated position salary bands and coordinate compensation adjustments for new hires, promotions, or policy changes.
  • Oversee employee communications and engagement related to benefit programs, ensuring clear and concise messaging.
  • Coordinate with HRIS and payroll teams to ensure accurate pay setup and deductions.
Requirements:
  • Advanced understanding of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and Excel skills to analyze data and develop insights.
  • Ability to manage complex processes and communicate effectively with diverse staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Discretion, integrity, and attention to confidentiality in handling sensitive employee data.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in compensation, benefits administration, or payroll operations and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Prior experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or multi-site organizations is preferred.
