We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Test Assurance Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to ensure that digital banking systems meet the desired quality standards. This involves conducting thorough testing of features across various platforms, including mobile and web applications.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing requirements and design documents to create comprehensive test cases, performing functional and regression testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to basic test automation efforts.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in QA testing, preferably in a digital banking or fintech environment.
  • A good understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and testing life cycles (STLC) in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong knowledge of functional and regression testing methodologies.
  • Experience with using Jira or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman, and automation tools like BrowserStack is an added advantage.
  • A good understanding of banking products and digital user journeys is beneficial.
  • Detailed-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate issues and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude, especially with regards to digital banking trends.
  • A team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing tasks.
