Project Manager Job Summary

The Project Manager is a vital role responsible for driving product development and business enhancement from conception to launch. The successful candidate will lead strategic planning projects, develop business initiatives, and facilitate discussions with stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Strategy: Owns and leads strategic planning projects for engineering and business, including marketplace growth, eCommerce technology, and business enhancements.
  • Process Leadership: Develops and leads business projects across the company, streamlining processes and automating features.
Requirements & Development Lifecycle
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitates discussions with stakeholders to gather comprehensive product requirements and feedback, ensuring the engineering team receives sufficient detail on business needs.
  • Product Definition: Captures high-level product requirements and translates them into actionable tasks for the development team, prioritizing based on Level of Effort (LOE) and Return on Investment (ROI).
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PM & PROBLEM RESOLUTION
  • Business Workflow Enhancement: Learns about business and technology workflows to enhance project outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Conflict Resolution: Identifies and assists in resolving conflicts, competing priorities, and roadblocks, enabling team members to achieve common goals efficiently.
Required Qualifications
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, with a minimum of 5 years of related PM experience, preferably with eCommerce knowledge.
  • eCommerce Expertise: Demonstrated understanding of various eCommerce platforms, ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems, Database systems, and reporting platforms.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, articulating complex technical and business concepts clearly and persuasively to business audiences.
