Pre-Sales Manager Role


This role is responsible for driving the initial stages of the project lifecycle, gathering requirements and evaluating scope of work.

The successful candidate will lead solution demonstrations, ensure all necessary information is collected early in the process, and manage proposal documents and templates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to gather detailed project requirements and understand their business objectives.
  • Evaluate the scope of work, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation outlining the scope of work, activities, and manpower requirements.

Solution Demonstration and Communication Skills:

  • Lead client conversations during solution demonstrations, highlighting the value and capabilities of proposed solutions.
  • Ensure all necessary information is collected during the early stages to inform solution design and project planning.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the pre-sales phase, addressing questions and concerns.

Proposal Management:

  • Create and maintain proposal documents, templates, and related materials to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Technical Architects and Project Managers, to develop accurate and compelling proposals.
  • Ensure that all proposals are tailored to client needs and comply with organizational standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in pre-sales consulting, business analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of solution scoping, proposal writing, and client engagement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead client conversations effectively.
  • Familiarity with CX platforms is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Client Engagement: Ability to build strong relationships with clients and understand their needs.
  • Analytical Thinking: Capability to evaluate project requirements and define actionable plans.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to address client concerns and provide tailored solutions effectively.
